On Tuesday 9 February 2021 a panel of experts will be addressing fact, fiction and opinion. As part of our webinar series on Covid-19 and kidney patients, Kidney Care UK, the Renal Association and the British Renal Society, supported by Gift of Living Donation (GOLD) and the African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust (ACLT), would like to invite you to join this free Zoom webinar for patients, carers and healthcare professionals with a particular focus on key questions asked by people from the BAME community.
Panel members will include Dr Huzaifa Adamali, Consultant Respiratory Medicine; Dr Javeed Ahmed, Consultant Virologist; Dr Adnan Sharif, Consultant Nephrologist; Dr Phil Bright, Consultant, Clinical Immunology; Dr Valentine Ngwa, Consultant Physician; Mufti Muhammed Zubair Butt, Islamic Scholar and Muslim Chaplain; and Reverend Eve Pitts, Vicar, Holy Trinity Church.
The Webinar starts at 5pm and will last for approximately one hour and 30 minutes. The panel’s discussion will be recorded and the video, along with a summary report, will be shared afterwards on our website. All attendees will remain anonymous and only the panel will be recorded.
Please note that we will not be able to cover individual treatment issues, but will be able to cover broader topics through the session. We’re really looking forward to sharing information with you, addressing your concerns and answering important questions.
