At our joint event with NHS Blood and Transplant patients and their families will be meeting with their MPs to tell them why organ donation is so important and what it means to them.
Amongst the speakers will be:-
- William Johnston, our Advocacy Officer for Northern Ireland, who waited 17 long years for his gift of life,
- Nigel and Sue Burton who, in the most difficult of circumstances, agreed to allow Martin’s organs to be used to help others,
- Finally Patricia Carroll will share her story of losing Natalie, a kidney patient for whom the wait was too long – and how Patricia was able to donate some of Natalie’s organs and became a living donor herself.
Please think about adding your name to the organ donor register.
