Why is the PIF TICK important?
We produce high quality health information to support people affected by kidney disease and kidney conditions. The PIF TICK recognises this quality. We want you to feel confident you can trust our health information.
How did Kidney Care UK get PIF TICK accredited?
We went through a detailed application process run by the Patient Information Forum to be formally recognised as a trusted information creator.
We have annual assessments to make sure that all of our resources are up-to-date, evidence-based and produced to the best possible standard.
Our aim is for everyone to have access to personalised health information to enable them to make informed decisions about their health, wellbeing and care.
With so much information online it can be difficult to know what to trust. Gaining the PIF TICK shows we have a strong process for developing our resources. This quality mark is a quick and easy way for people to be assured our information is reliable and trustworthy.Laurie Cuthbert, Director of Fundraising, Marketing & Communications at Kidney Care UK

UKKA members work in clinical renal care, treating and caring for people with kidney disease, in kidney-focused research, or in related sciences and fields.
